DESCRIPTION:
Wherever you are on Saturday afternoons, we ask you to TUNE IN and dance with our friends at Μενούσης Ελληνικοί Λαϊκοί Χοροί, a wonderful dance troupe established in Athens in 1986 by world-famous musician and dance instructor, Paraskevas Ntompros.
We hope you'll take the time to learn and enjoy this weekly summer dance series. Search your heritage, find your roots, know Greece through dance!
This event is prepared by Μενούσης Ελληνικοί Λαϊκοί Χοροί (Menousis Greek Folk Dance Troupe) in Athens, Greece, in collaboration with the Philo4Thought Hellenic Mentoring Initiative in New York.

WEEK 6: HISTORICAL OVERVIEW
This week we will convene on SUNDAY, JULY 26th at 1pm for a discussion on all the dances we have reviewed so far -- their regions and historical significance. Presentation by our esteemed instructor, Paraskevas Ntompros.
WEEKS 7 and 8: FEATURED DANCES
Musical links for the beginner and intermediate levels will be emailed to the group by our esteemed instructor, Paraskevas Ntompros.
