KALO MINA! WELCOME BACK!
We hope the month has been off to a safe and productive start as everyone prepares for the gradual transition back to work/school.
August is all about reconnecting with educational and inspirational sources to discover the strength within! Most importantly, August is about making space for yourself to absorb and enjoy everything around you before hunkering down for the autumn bustle (and your favorite latte).
The key to enjoying life is to live with meaning, purpose and design. In the words of Paola Antonelli, "Good design is a renaissance attitude that combines technology, cognitive science, human need and beauty to produce something that the world didn't know was missing." This applies just as much to the flourishing of an individual as it does to that of a team, a vision, and the various places and tools we carve out for ourselves to be productive. It's for this reason that our programming team has worked diligently to set up our new S.N.A.P. Mentoring Initiative (rolling out next month) and our Young Professional Empowerment Series. Our August Seminar specifically focuses on the theme of making space -- both the mental space to take in and process things and the physical space within which we work, study or socialize -- so that every action moves you forward in a positive and empowering way.
This month's issue is packed with empowerment-themed articles and videos as well as a few amazing Fall 2020 opportunities for students who are starting or returning to school.
We're happy to be lunching a few new features for our Passport Members with ample opportunities for our broader network to stay connected through our online resources and activities. As always, we are here for you.
