Perry J. Rizopoulos

Perry is an Adjunct Philosophy Instructor at two universities in New York as well as the author of two well-received publications: Wheat Songs (recently featured in The National Herald)  and 100 Conversations You Need To Have (recently featured as a special faculty presentation at St. John's University). Wheat Songs documents his grandfather’s experiences in Greece during WWII as well as his Greek- and Italian-American family story in the Bronx, New York.

Perry holds an M.Ed. from Columbia University Teachers College and a B.A. from Manhattan College, graduating as valedictorian and Phi Beta Kappa, He is currently completing his Ed.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies at Columbia University Teachers College. His interest include research and writing on topics to help preserve multicultural narratives about the Holocaust, the Armenian Genocide and other historical eras.
