Young Professional Empowerment Seminar is a monthly segment on a select monthly topic to educate, inspire and empower emerging young pros.

October marks the anniversary of our establishment to help emerging young professionals connect with viable career resources and opportunities. It also marks the beginning of the national Open Enrollment season for the selection of employment benefits packages. 

Join us once again to learn about selection, planning and negotiation of #Employment and Medical Benefits packages that best suit your needs and lifestyle! Featuring our two premiere HR Employment Benefits specialists, Maggie Stavrianidis (Head of Global Total Rewards, Elementis Global; 2019 Lifetime Honoree, Philo4Thought) and Bruce Boucher (President, Roos Advisors US/UK/France).

Perfect for students, new and transitioning professionals, families, veterans and those who recently experienced job loss due to COVID.

Adapting to healthcare changes during the pandemic: 

  1. Is it safe to return to work and/or school?

  2. What reduced benefits and services have people faced during the pandemic?

  3. What reliable health options are available to people who have lost their jobs?

  4. Can one's current medical providers stop providing service because they have new insurance?  

  5. Can an insurance provider refuse coverage due to "pre-existing conditions" even if the cause of taking on

  6. the new insurance was (1) loss of work or (2) the employer's switch to a new plan?
