Center for Executive Education, Tobin College of Business, St. John's University

On Thursday, May 14, the Center for Executive Education at the Peter J. Tobin College of Business will launch the continuation of their Art at Risk: Fortune, Fame and Fashion conference series, building on the successful fine arts conference held in 2019, incorporating panels and alternating case studies for the 2020 event. Conference topics cover broad implications of collecting from pop culture, particularly as it relates to famous people and events, covering the "lifecycle" of either a single object or a collection, meaning acquisition, retention, and disposition, and what factors come into play in each stage. This and related conferences are designed for new and experienced collectors, insurers, lawyers, conservators, appraisers, and collecting institutions such as museums and libraries.

Congratulations Class of 2020!

As always, we wish our young graduates and professionals all the best in the next steps of your journey! New graduates in attendance at the symposium will be recognized at the conclusion of our awards ceremony. Please let us know at sign-in.
